How to Make Lolly Stick Christmas Character Tree Decorations
You Will Need:
- Jumbo Natural Lolly Sticks
- Festive Ribbon
- Felt Off-Cuts
- Paint Sticks
- Festive Glitter Pom Poms
- Assorted Sequins
- A pen
To make your Lolly Stick Tree Decorations:
- Start by picking your favourite Festive character, we used Santa here but you could try Rudolph, an elf or even frosty the snowman.
- Using a pencil, mark lines for Santa’s face and belt. Colour the remaining sections accordingly with paint sticks.
- Cut out a hat and a belt for Santa from a piece of paper. Colour them in and stick them to the lolly stick. Why not add a little white pom pom to the hat?
- Next, take some white felt and cut out a beard for Santa. Stick his fluffy beard onto the chin area of the lolly stick
- Draw on Santa’s face by adding some eyes and a big smile
- Then take a pipe cleaner and wrap it around the lolly stick to make Santa’s arms. You can then twist the pipe cleaner into position – we used a pencil to curl his arms!
- Finally, add a ribbon to the back of your lolly stick with glue and your decoration is ready to hang on the tree!
